Introduction; "How I Found Purpose Through Zero-Cost Living, Nature, and Social Change"

A few years ago, my life took a big turn when I sold my Dezire. That moment marked the start of a new journey toward a simpler and more meaningful life. I decided to live a zero-cost lifestyle, which means cutting down on expenses and focusing on what truly matters. Along the way, I’ve worked on improving my mental and physical health, developed a love for nature, and started some exciting social projects. Here’s my story and the changes I’ve made to create a better life.

Embracing a Zero-Cost Life

Living a zero-cost life might sound extreme, but for me, it’s been a game-changer. The idea is to spend as little money as possible and make the most of what I have. I wanted to simplify my life and reduce my impact on the environment.

Switching to this lifestyle meant changing how I think about money and resources. I’ve learned to focus on what I need rather than what I want. This means doing things like making my own cleaning products, fixing old items instead of buying new ones, and using natural resources whenever I can.

One of the best parts of living this way is the freedom it brings. With fewer expenses, I don’t worry about money as much, and I feel more in control of my life. This simplicity has helped me appreciate the little things and find joy in everyday moments.

Mental and Physical Well-being

I’ve always known that taking care of my mind and body is important, but it wasn’t until recently that I really started focusing on it. I’ve been trying to get into meditation, and even though I haven’t quite nailed it yet, I’ve trained my mind to focus on positive things and stay grounded.

Physical health has also become a priority, especially now that I’m in my mid-thirties. I pay more attention to what I eat, exercise regularly, and make sure to get enough rest. It’s all about maintaining a balance and listening to what my body needs.

After losing my parents, I had to face some hard truths about life. It’s not easy, but accepting reality has helped me grow stronger and more resilient. I’ve learned to appreciate the present and cherish the memories, while also looking forward to the future with a positive mindset.

Living Naturally and Loving Nature

Moving towards a natural lifestyle has been one of the most rewarding changes I’ve made. I’ve started to live more sustainably, using natural products and being mindful of my environmental impact. This shift aligns with my values and has helped me feel more connected to the world around me.

I’ve also developed a deep love for nature. I spend more time outdoors, enjoying the beauty of the natural world. This newfound appreciation led me to start plantation and restoration projects. Planting trees and restoring natural habitats not only benefits the environment but also brings a sense of fulfillment and purpose to my life.

Social Change Travel (SCT 2024)

One of my most exciting initiatives is the Social Change Travel project, also known as SCT 2024. The idea behind SCT is to create a community of travelers who are passionate about making a positive impact on society. We aim to promote social change through travel, encouraging people to explore the world while contributing to local communities.

Our first project focuses on stopping youth migration from rural to urban areas. This is a big issue because when young people leave rural areas, it can slow down the development of these communities. They take their skills and energy with them, which could have been used to improve their hometowns.

In the digital age, there’s so much potential for rural development. We plan to provide resources and training to help young people use technology to create opportunities in their own communities. By doing this, we hope to encourage them to stay and build a better future where they are.

Conclusion

Reflecting on my journey, I’m proud of the changes I’ve made and my new path. From living a zero-cost life to improving my well-being and starting meaningful projects, each step has brought me closer to a more fulfilling and sustainable lifestyle. I look forward to continuing this journey and seeing where it takes me.
